Arcos Bail Bonds is truly a family owned business. Started in 1948 by Armando Arcos, it has
served the Tampa community for over 70 years. Armando’s son, Larry, joined the business in
1975 and is currently head of the Orient Road office, which is staffed and open 24 hours a day/7
days a week to provide the personal experience and accessibility that people need.
Larry’s two sons, Jon and Joe, who also have significant responsibilities within the company. Jon
joined the business in 2001 and is married with two sons of his own who may someday become
part of the operations.
The younger son, Joe, started worked in the business starting in high school (2005) and
throughout college. He studied criminal justice for 2 years at Tallahassee Community College
and went on to earn a BS in criminology at Florida State University. Joe left for two years to
attend South Texas College of Law and is now back and active in the family business.
We believe in family, service, and commitment. We’ve been a part of this community for 70
